Lim Peng Jin
Managing
Director
Lim Peng Jin, is
currently the Managing Director of the
Company. He was appointed to the Board on 20
January 1995 as the Group Executive Director
and was re-designated as Managing Director
on 6 November 2001. He graduated with a
Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Chemical
Engineering from the University of Tokyo,
Japan in 1990. He was attached to Yamato
Chemical Industry Co Ltd and Shin-Etsu
Chemical Co Ltd in Japan for a year before
joining the Company in 1991. He had also
completed a course in Programme for
Management Development at Harvard
University, USA in 1998. He has local and
international working experience in the
field of polymer and chemicals.

Gan Kok Khye
Executive
Director
Gan Kok Khye,
was appointed as an Executive Director on
22 July 1996. He graduated with a Bachelor
of Arts (Honours) in Business Studies from
North East London Polytechnic, London in
1985. He was formerly the Administration
Manager of Woventex Sdn Bhd (“WSB”) in 1990
and was appointed as a Director of WSB in
1992. Currently, he holds various senior
positions with the subsidiaries of the
Company.
Choo Seng Hong
Executive
Director
Choo Seng Hong
was appointed as an Executive Director on 17
January 2003. He graduated with a Bachelor
of Accountancy from University Putra
Malaysia in 1993 and is also a member of the
Malaysian Institute of Accountants. He was
formerly the Finance and Administration Manager
of the Group.
Currently, he holds various senior positions
with the subsidiaries of the Company. Prior
to joining the Group in 1997, he was
attached to KPMG from 1993 to 1997. He has
experience in the field of banking, oil and
gas and manufacturing.
Yau Kuan Yee
General Manager
Yau Kuan Yee
joined the Group in 1996 as a Division
General Manager of stretch film business.
He has more than 20 years of experience in
the plastics packaging industry and 17 years
in stretch film segment. He graduated from
Swinburne Institute of Technology,
Melbourne, Australia with a degree in
Manufacturing Engineering.
Goh Tian Chin
General Manager
Goh Tian Chin joined
Scientex Polymer Sdn. Bhd. in
September 1995 as an Assistant
Production Manager and was promoted
to General Manager in February 2001.
He is a graduate of University Sains
Malaysia with a Degree in Technology
and has more than 10 years in the
Polymer Industry.

Thomas Leong
Choo Chye
Executive
Director
Thomas Leong
Choo Chye joined the Group in 1984 as a
Sales Supervisor. He was promoted to Sales
and Marketing Manager in 1995 and has been
the Division General Manager of carton boxes
business since 1997 before redesignated as
an Executive Director in 2008. He received
his early education in Kuala Lumpur. He has
more than 2 decades of experience in the
carton industries.
Takao Yagai
General Director –
Scientex Polymer (Vietnam) Co.Ltd
Prior to joining our
Group in 2002, Mr Yagai was a Senior
Manager with Yamato Chemical
Industry Co.Ltd,a subsidiary of
Mitsui & Co.Ltd. He has more than 30
years of extensive experience in
production management in polymer
and carpet mat manufacturing. He was
graduated from Tokyo Denki
University with degree in Chemical
Science.
Tan Chee Teong
President - Scientex Polymer Japan Co., Ltd.
Tan Chee Teong joined Scientex Polymer Sdn. Bhd. in 2002 and was since promoted to his current post in 2008. He graduated from Waseda University in Japan in 1988 with a Degree in Business Administration. Prior to joining the Scientex Group, Mr. Tan has 14 years (6 years in Japan) working experience in the Mega Banking Group in Japan (Now known as Resona Bank, Ltd.).
Masaaki Hasebe
Managing Director
– Cosmo Scientex (M) Sdn. Bhd.
Masaaki Hasebe,
joined Mitsui Toatsu Chemicals, Inc.
(a merged division of Mitsui
Chemicals, Inc.) on 1977 after
graduated from Keio University with
a Bachelor Degree in Economics. He
was assigned to various section of
the Mitsui Group including marketing
and overseas planning department
before taking up as the key
marketing personnel in global
polyurethane and CASE materials
business. He was posted to
Thai Mitsui Specialty Chemicals Co.
Ltd. in Thailand as the Deputy
Managing Director from 2002 to 2008.
He was then re-assigned to Cosmo
Scientex (M) Sdn. Bhd. on February
2008 where he was appointed as the
Managing Director
Property Division
Koay Teik Chuan
Executive Director
Koay Teik Chuan joined the Scientex
Group in 1997 and is presently the
Executive Director of KC Contract
Sdn. Bhd., a construction firm for
the Group's Johor Property Division, which
develops Scientex Pasir
Gudang and Scientex Kulai, Johor Darul Takzim. He has
over 20 years experience in the
construction line and is presently
also the Assistant to Managing
Director of Scientex Quatari Sdn.
Bhd
Alex Khaw
General Manager
Alex Khaw joined the
Scientex Property Division in 1996.
Starting off as a project manager in
Scientex Quatari, Alex was promoted
to General Manager in 2004. He
graduated from University Science of
Malaysia with a degree in Housing,
building & planning and has over 15
years experience in the construction
and property development.

Jesselyn Chang Siew Sian
Group Financial Controller
Jesselyn Chang is an
accountant by profession. She has a decade
of local and international experience in the
field of auditing and accounting. She
graduated from University of Malaya with a
Bachelor Degree in Accounting. She is a
Chartered Accountant and Certified Public
Accountant. She is a member of the Malaysian
Institute of Accountants and Malaysian
Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Phang Chi Ming
Legal & Corporate Affairs
Manager
Phang Chi Ming graduated from
the National University of Singapore in 1989
with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree. He
has been in legal practice since 1990 and
obtained his Masters in Laws from University
of Malaya in 1996. He has varied experience
in commercial and corporate work as well as
litigation.
