Since its inception in 1968, Scientex has expanded and diversified from being just a PVC Leather Cloth producer to a multi-million corporation dealing with Industrial Packaging Solution, Property Development, Polymer based products for Automotive and General use, and Adhesive for flexible food packaging.

The Industrial Packaging Division caters for the following categories

The Property Division flagship development lies in Taman Scientex, Pasir Gudang, Johor, and spans more than 1000 acres of residential, commercial, and industrial development; private and public amenities, as well as basic to complex infrastructure facilities when fully completed.

Scientex's Polymer Division specialises in the manufacturing of PVC leather cloth, PVC/PP & PVC/PE foam, and TPO/PP foam sheets for automotive instrument panels, door trims, and roof lining for car manufacturers in the Asia Pacific region. In addition we also supply tufted carpet mat for automotive manufacturers in the Asia Pacific region.

The Chemical Division boast Asean first polyurethane adhesive plant situated in Pulau Indah, Westport, Port Klang, Malaysia. Covering approximately 10,000 meters², the plant uses an advanced computer-controlled distribution system integrating the latest processing technology, electronic circuit technology and information system technology to produce high quality polyurethane adhesives in stringent quality control manner.
