When and where was Scientex incorporated? How did it assume its present name?
Scientex was incorporated in Malaysia under the Companies Act 1965 on June 25, 1968 as a private limited company under the name of Scientific Textile Industries Sdn Bhd. It was converted to a public limited company and changed its name to Scientific Textile Industries Bhd on November 29, 1969. On April 27, 1970, it changed its name to Scientex Industries Bhd and the Company assumed its present name, Scientex Incorporated Bhd on February 23, 1995. In March 2008, the Company changed its name to Scientex Berhad. |
