PVC vinyl laminated with fabric as backer has been widely used as car and motorcycle seat cover, apart from fabric and genuine leather. We are able to meet OEM requirements in terms of physical properties, strength, durability, and appearance. With the proper formulated PVC combined with specific fabric type ie : single-knit fabric, double-knit fabric, T.C. fabric, and double-stretched fabric, we are able to manufacture and provide a combination of physical properties specific to the end-user's requirements. We are currently supplying to Proton, Daihatsu, Honda, Nissan, Suzuki, Toyota, Yamaha, Subaru, Hyundai, Naza (Kia), and Perodua.
In line with our commitment to explore and introduce new products to the market and to further strengthen our efforts to satisfy customers' requirements, Polymer Division has successfully acquired from Idemitsu Technofine Co., Ltd., Japan to produce, market and sell Protein Leather for the application of automotive seat cover. Protein Leather has physical properties that are very close to genuine leather but are very much cheaper than genuine leather in terms of cost. Protein Leather is widely used now as seat cover materials in Japan automotive market. |
