Metallised Film
Our two Cast Polypropylene (CPP) and metallised film plant is set up with capability to produce 18,000MT CPP film per annum hence it is the biggest in Malaysia.
CPP and metallised film is widely use in food packaging. In line with the food packaging market need, the plant is designed and set up with production capability to meet the stringent “food safety” requirements and is equipped with sophisticated and advanced manufacturing machinery from the world’s leading supplier. The plant is able to produce high quality multi -layer CPP film and high barrier metallised film (MCPP, MBOPP, MPET etc).
The main market of our supply of CPP film and metallised film is to flexible packaging film converter and currently our production caters the local and export markets.
High Vacuum Web Coater (Metalliser)
Metallised film (MCPP, MBOPP etc.), is produced by vaporization process whereby an incredibly thin layer of aluminum with exact controlled amounts is deposited to the surface of various polymer substrates offering a brilliant glossy metallic appearance.
The microscopic thin layer of aluminum deposition significantly attributes to the enhancement of moisture, gas and light barrier properties, which are important to maintain the freshness of food products and extend the shelf life of products.

Applications
As inner layer substrate in flexible packaging. Laminated film structure with metallised film provides good moisture, gas and light barrier properties which will extend the product’s shelf life as well as to maintain the freshness of food products. It is widely used for food packaging such as biscuits, snack food, candy etc.
